Banana
Fritters
- 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 3 bananas, chopped
- oil for frying
In a medium
bowl combine the dry ingredients. In a large bowl beat the egg with
the milk and oil. Stir in the dry ingredients. Dip the bananas into
the batter and fry in a large skillet of oil at 375 degrees until
golden. Drain on paper towel; roll in sugar and serve hot.
Yield: 6 servings
