Tart Base:
- 4 apples, chopped fine
- 1/2 pound dates, chopped
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup sweet wine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients
in medium bowl. Refrigerate at least four hours or overnight to allow
flavors to blend
Serve with thinly sliced apple
and mint leaf for garnish
